End Date: 9/25/2013End Time: 8:00 PM
Event Description
Join the Alumni Association and the College of Arts and Sciences for a night at the Franklin Institute's exhibit, SPY: The Secret World of Espionage, with special guest Dr. Eric Zillmer, Carl R. Pacifico Professor of Neuropsychology and the Director of Athletics at Drexel University.

The evening will start with a reception under the dome of the Fels Planetarium where Dr. Zillmer will discuss the psychology of spying, why humans are so preoccupied with secrecy and knowing, and why knowledge is the military's essential tool, not weaponry.

After the talk, head over to the exhibit which features the real-life evolution of spy technology with more than 200 historical artifacts. Rare treasures from the CIA, the FBI, the National Reconnaissance Office, and intelligence historian H. Keith Melton tell the stories of spies, past and present.

Spend the evening with an espionage expert and get an inside look at this fascinating world through tools, technologies, and testimonials.
