The Philadelphia Chapter of the Special Libraries Association (SLA) Presents a Tech Day and Wine & Cheese Event
1: SLA Philadelphia Tech Day
When: Tuesday, September 23, 2014; 12:00 - 4:30 PM
Where: Hagerty Library on Drexel University Main Campus
What: Tech Day is a hands on, interactive, educational program that will include two 90 minute sessions lead by instructor John LeMasney:
1st session- creating an online portfolio/resume with WordPress.
2nd session- creating infographics in Inkscape
**This will be an in person program only.
**Limited seating
Bring your laptops, no tablets
Coffee, soft drinks, and snacks will be provided
Cost of event: $15 for Students (subsidized)
$25 for SLA Members
$35 for Non SLA Members

Where: The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University
What: Come and socialize with members of the Philadelphia Chapter of SLA
Cost of event: $30 for members of SLA (subsidized)
$35 for members of other library associations (subsidized)
$20 for retired and in-transition SLA members (subsidized)
$15 for students (subsidized)
$40 for non-members (full cost)
