  • Discuss the genetic/heritable underpinnings of immunocompetence and susceptibility to infection
  • Describe the historic impact of major pathogen outbreaks/pandemics on population genetics
  • Enumerate the ways in which modern travel patterns are expediting the advance of emerging/novel human pathogens
