Event Description

“How can I as a faculty member make my documents accessible in all formats and help to create a climate of inclusion for all students, regardless of their learning style?”

Join Michael Shelmet, Director of Instructional Technology in the Office of Information Technology, and Dr. Kevin Scoles, Associate Dean for Undergraduate Affairs and Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, in a remote workshop specifically geared towards Drexel Engineering faculty to learn about how you can use Blackboard Ally as a powerful tool to enhance and understand your document accessibility.

In this remote environment, it is critical to reach our students of all abilities, in addition to provide alternative ways to approach different document types. A tailored follow-up training will be provided to delve deeper into improving Word documents and PowerPoint slides.

If you are unable to attend the event during this date and time, this event will be recorded and shared on the Drexel Engineering Faculty Affairs page and in the Drexel Engineering faculty Blackboard site.
