Event Description Come find out how to incorporate fruits and vegetables into the MyPlate food model. Following this model will help build healthy meals by loading up with fruits and vegetables and avoiding empty calories.
This 15-minute mini-workshop, brought to you by A Healthier U and the Center for Integrated Nutrition & Performance, will be followed by a fruit and vegetable buffet! This workshop will be presented by staff from the Center for Integrated Nutrition & Performance.
No registration is required. This workshop is open to the entire Drexel Community and will be held in the Recreation Center Lobby from 1:00-1:30.
If you would like to sneak in a little workout before the workshop, meet at 12:30 in the Recreation Center Lobby and join the Healthier U Walking Club for a 30 minute walk from 12:30-1:00! In the events of inclement weather (which includes heat!), you may opt to walk indoors. |
