Busy times, in our
lives or in our work, can leave us feeling stressed out, frayed, anxious, and
overwhelmed. This talk will help participants identify personalized self-care
strategies and specific ways to integrate self-care into their daily routines. Late Summer is the
time of year associated with transitions and change and with nourishment in
Chinese Medicine. This busy time of year invites us to look at how we can
really feed our bodies and our emotions with the best fuel so that we can enjoy
our lives without neglecting what needs to be done. Our speaker, Monica Fauble, Wellness
Administrator for Drexel’s Human Resources Department, will be using her
experience as a Licensed Acupuncturist, a practitioner of Chinese Medicine, and
as a busy person, to offer tips on how to sneak in self-care even in the
busiest of times. This workshop is open to all faculty
and professional staff. Please contact Monica with questions. Please feel free
to bring your lunch. To access this workshop online
via LIVE WEBSTREAM on September 13th from Noon-1pm, please visit the
Drexel University events calendar and click on this event listing. A link will
be available shortly before the workshop so that you can tune in remotely if
you are unable to leave your desk for this workshop.
