Event Description Research conducted by the students and faculty of the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems, in alliance with partner academic units, is constantly changing and rapidly expanding. During this academic year, select faculty will highlight the ongoing research in their labs. Each presentation will consist of a brief overview of major areas of research active in a particular lab. The labs featured on September 28, 2012 are advised by Dr. Kenneth Barbee, Dr. Adrian Shieh, and Dr. Yinghui Zhong. Please find their research keywords appended above. The objective of the Faculty and Laboratory Introduction series is to help expose new graduate and undergraduate students to various research fields being pursued and encourage them to join their lab of interest. This seminar is also a good time for current students to explore collaborative research partnerships by learning about research undertaken in related research labs. |
