Event Description
Please join Chairman Richard A. Greenawalt and President John A. Fry for the dedication of the Raymond G. Perelman Plaza, as Drexel University celebrates the generosity of Raymond G. Perelman HD’12.
 
Located along 32nd Street between Market and Chestnut Streets, Perelman Plaza transforms the center of campus with an improved flow of pedestrian traffic, well-planned seating and increased shade and natural beauty. The plaza's design also integrates sustainable stormwater management and rainwater usage.
 
Construction of the plaza was made possible by a $5 million gift from the Raymond and Ruth Perelman Education Foundation. A community reception will follow the dedication ceremony.
