Event Description
Journey back 70 million years with Ned Gilmore, the Academy’s vertebrate paleontology collection managers, during this family fossil dig at the Big Brook Preserve in New Jersey.
Search for shark teeth and other marine fossils from the Cretaceous. Keep what you find! (Scientifically significant specimens may be retained for the Academy’s paleontology collections.)
This program is open to families with children 7 and older. All participants must arrange their own transportation to the field trip site.

- Members: $25 per adult, $20 per children (ages 7-18)
- Nonmembers: $35 per adult, $30 per children (ages 7-18)
- Limited to 30 participants.
