Patient Worthy Medicine: The Art and Science of Evidence Based Practice
During this interactive two-day conference, participants will be guided through the process of evidence-based practice by being provided with and practicing practical strategies for applying the art and science of medicine.
Distinguished, world-renowned international presenters include:
Dr. Allen Shaughnessy, Senior Editor of Essential Evidence Plus, Consulting Editor for Dynamed and co-creator of Information Mastery – Keynote Speaker;
Dr. Edward Livingston, Deputy Editor for Clinical Content of JAMA, The Journal of the American Medical Association. Physician and PA faculty from the University of Worcester, England and Drexel University will also lecture on both days;
Dr. Rod Jackson, New Zealand cardiovascular risk factor epidemiologist will discuss his GATE tool for critical appraisal;
Mr. David Allen, mastectomy scar tattoo artist, will discuss the use of empathy.
