Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the activity, participants should be able to:

  • Demonstrate increased knowledge of treatment options for children status post hand amputations.
  • Verbalize what vascularized composite allotransplantation is.
  • Discuss microvascular surgery, hand surgery, connecting muscles, tendons and blood vessels required to achieve transplantation.
