Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the epidemiology of Zika virus
  • Understand modes of acquisition and transmission of Zika virus and plan a strategy to avoid the spreading of the virus
  • Recognize risks for fetal damage and plan a strategy for evaluation of a suspect maternal/fetal/neonatal case

Target Audience
Attending physicians, referring physicians, nurse practitioners, nursing personnel, fellows, residents and medical students
