Event Description
Cross-Country Conversations provide a forum for domestic and international students to present and discuss their perspectives on pressing global issues.
A week before the general election, panelists will discuss the upcoming vote for President and elections around the world.
Dr. Richardson Dilworth will moderate a panel of pre-selected students who give short presentations on the topic; following that the floor will be open to everyone to voice their opinions, concerns, and perspectives. This is a great opportunity to gain multi-cultural and multi-national perspective on the topic through hearing the views of the various international students, faculty, and staff who will be in attendance.
Panelists will discuss questions such as:
What are some of the major concerns you have for this year’s Presidential/Congressional elections?
What does the Presidential election represent to you / your country? What are the processes in your country, if different than the US?
What is the media’s role in elections? Drexel’s role? Community’s role?
