Cross-Country Conversations provide a forum for domestic and international students to present and discuss their perspectives on pressing global issues.
On January 25, students will discuss questions such as:
- How do students decide to start their own companies?
- How do international students decide between starting a company in the US or in their home countries?
- What are the benefits of working for a startup versus starting your own company?
- How can domestic student entrepreneurs consider expanding to other countries?
Chuck Sacco, director of the Baiada Institute of Entrepreneurship, will moderate a panel of pre-selected students who give short presentations on the topic; then the floor will be open for audience members to voice their opinions, concerns, and perspectives. This is a great opportunity for students to gain multi-cultural and multi-national perspectives on the topic through hearing the views of diverse student representatives.
The Office of International Programs and International Student and Scholar Services are happy to present this Cross-Country Conversation in partnership with the Close School of Entrepreneurship.
