Sebastian Rich has been a photographer and cameraman working in hard news and documentaries for more than 30 years and has photographed every major world conflict during that time.
The Kal and Lucille Rudman Institute for Entertainment Industry Studies will host Rich for a one-on-one talk with Rudman Institute Director, Karen Curry.
Rich has photographed wars and conflicts in El Salvador, Northern Ireland, Afghanistan, Sudan, Ethiopia, Lebanon, Bosnia, Palestine and throughout the Middle East, as well as Iraq.
During the war in Iraq, Sebastian was with the 2nd Battalion 8th Marines for much of the duration of hostilities. He has been wounded several times, kidnapped and held hostage while on assignment in Beirut.
Over the years, Rich has been a personal cameraman to some of British television's most highly respected journalists and is a favored photographer with the French NGO Medicins Sans Frontiers, Save the Children, World Wildlife Foundations and United Nations agencies.
