Event Description
Dr. Rosenberg of Drexel’s History & Politics department will be speaking. His talk is titled “Presidential Debates: Their History and Impact on Presidential Elections”.

Dr. Rosenberg will present the history of presidential debates, including debates that occurred before the famous Kennedy-Nixon Debates in 1960. Material will be presented about the Vice-Presidential debates as well. He will present an overview of the research literature associated with debates over time as well as discuss the specifics of the impact of the debates in the 2012 election between President Obama and Governor Romney.

Questions and discussion with the speaker will follow the presentation.
