Managing Debt: Financial Fitness Series

Event Description
This workshop will provide participants with an understanding of how to manage debt from student loans to mortgages to credit card debt. How can you responsibly pay down your outstanding debt, shorten the repayment interval and maintain your good credit standing.

In addition, we will also provide resources for parents who have college-age children and who are considering financing options for their child’s educational needs.

Finally, we will we will review tools to help you reorganize your debt and options from Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union.

Objectives: By the end of the seminar participants will understand • Debt – Types • How to avoid your own personal fiscal cliff • Strategies for repayment or consolidation • Resources - Where to go if you need help
