Event Description
This year has demonstrated time and time again that flexibility and resourcefulness are not luxuries, but necessities. Still, for all the flux, for all the change, for all the uncertainty and tumult, every one of us has the ability to find calm, focus, ease, and well-being — working within the eye of the storm.

In this four-session series, led by Philadelphia’s own Brandon R. Everett, you will learn core mindfulness practices for finding calm, focus, connection, and well-being to help you navigate the personal and professional storms of daily life during this global pandemic.

Key skills you will learn:
- What mindfulness is and how it works
- The benefits of practicing daily
- How practicing mindfulness promotes well-being individually as well as in relationships and at work.
- 4 core mindfulness practices for promoting calm, clarity, connection, and joy
- How to make mindfulness a habit that lasts

Key benefits:
- To recognize your own ability to find ease and well-being
- The ability release stress and anxiety
- Improved sleep
- Greater self-awareness, and the ability to self-regulate emotions
- Greater connection with those who provide your comfort and support

While Brandon received his formal training from one of the founders of the Penn Program for Mindfulness, since completing his training he has sought to integrate the latest on the science of well-being into his presentations and practices. His focus is on providing practical tools you can use “on the spot” in your daily and working life to find greater calm, clarity, and well-being — to work within the eye of the storm!

Note: All attendees will be provided a link to recorded mindfulness practices that they can use daily to strengthen and support their mindfulness practice

Brandon R Everett is a Certified Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher and Registered Nurse. Since completing his formal 2-year, 900-hr Meditation Teacher Training in 2017, he has offered classes and workshops in schools, hospitals, and organizations across the tristate area. His emphasis is on providing practical, effective mindfulness techniques and insights that can be easily integrated into daily and working life. He takes tremendous joy in drawing connections between modern neuroscience and psychology, and the sometimes millenia-old practices of Eastern Wisdom Traditions he has been trained in.
