University Facilities is coordinating the annual University General Clean-Up from Monday, Aug. 19, through Friday, Sept. 20. This is an opportunity for departments and offices to dispose of obsolete or broken equipment, furniture and other large, non-hazardous materials. To participate:
- Identify items to be discarded.
Submit a WEB TMA work order request or call (215)
895-1700 to arrange for a pick-up of items to be discarded. (Some
oversized pieces of equipment and sensitive items may not qualify for the
University General Clean-Up and will require special handling for
- Once University Facilities receives the work order request, the items will be removed.
Items being disposed from laboratories may not include hazardous waste or dangerous chemicals. For all laboratory hazardous waste, contact Environmental Safety & Health at (215) 895-5891 to arrange a special pick-up.
Any items of residual value and can be reused by other University departments should be posted on the Drexel Surplus Exchange
, or they can be arranged for special pick-up by emailing University Facilities.
