Event Description
In this inaugural event for Bienvenidos (DU Colleague Resource Group) , Deputy Mayor Richard Negrin will give insight on his journey to becoming  a public official. His lecture will focus on citizens engagement through various means, including public service. “As Managing Director, Negrin oversees several high-profile, cross-departmental initiatives including Philly Rising <http://www.phila.gov/phillyrising/index.html> , which targets neighborhoods plagued by chronic crime and quality of life problems...” A fun-filled reception for attendees only will be held at Landmark Americana following the event.
