Learning Hour Series: Dollars and Cents - Where Do They Come From?

Event Description
Last year, The Office of Institutional Advancement raised more than $450 million during a fund-raising campaign for the University. Where did this money come from and how does it affect students, faculty, and staff? This newest Learning Hour will look at the functions of Drexel's Office of Foundation and Corporate Relations and its significant contribution to the overall strategy of the University and the Drexel community.

Learning Hour Presenter ​​Meagan Mackin Brackeen is Assistant Director of Arts and Humanities for Foundation and Corporate Relations (FCR). Meagan proactively supports faculty members, deans, and program directors within the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and Design, School of Education, and ExCITe Center. She also works on major strategic, collaborative projects that will be considered by major national foundations such as the Gates Foundation and MacArthur Foundation. Co-presenter Dr. Anika Warren is Associate Vice President for (FCR).Foundation and Corporate Relations (FCR) in the Office of Institutional Advancement (IA) at Drexel University.

Anika leads the University’s outreach and philanthropic engagement with major foundations and corporations to support strategic goals and major institutional programs; and works closely with President Fry to advance Drexel’s presence regionally, nationally, and internationally.
