spousal chronic illness, a trilogy diary of late-pregnancy loss, and

Miriam Kotzin, PhD, teaches Creative Writing in the Department of English and Philosophy. Her latest poetry collection is "Debris Field" (David Robert
Books, OH), which features poems ranging from open verse to tight, traditional sonnets, to poems about nature and memory. Her "clear-eyed view of the world is both dark and funny. She is also deeply invested in the bitter beauties of the natural world from which she draws a number of her starting images. In "Debris Field," she expands her singular journey that has made her one of the best poets of her generation (Richard Burgin)."
