Learning Objectives

  • Identify uncommon clinical diagnoses that present with common or non-specific exam findings.
  • Identify cutaneous manifestations of critical systemic disease.
  • Have an enhanced understanding of the inpatient clinical course and follow-up for patients presenting to clinic with prolonged fever.
  • Interpret non-specific laboratory findings as they pertain to rare but serious clinical diagnoses.
