Claire Lankford is a 4th year clinical psychology doctoral student at Drexel University. Her research broadly focuses on the intersection of law and human behavior, and how these interactions inform our current legal system and policy implementations. More specifically, her research interests include forensic mental health assessment, psychopathy, and alternatives to incarceration such as problem solving courts and diversion programs.

Her research interests focus on policies and recovery models for substance use and how they interact with the criminal justice system. She has a background with community-based recovery models and has studied substance use interventions in clinical and research capacities for various at-risk populations. She is particularly interested in studying how policies impact individual drug use and alternatives to incarceration for substance users and drug involved crime while at Drexel.
