The purpose of this workshop is to review the new Consumer Directed Health Plan, or the CDHP medical insurance option. The Consumer Directed Health Plan is a qualified medical plan that can be coupled with a Health Savings Account. The Health Savings Account is a savings vehicle that allows members to save money on their medical spending by setting aside pre-tax dollars to pay for qualified medical expenses. The presentation will provide an in depth review including the tax advantages of a Health Savings account, claim examples, and other benefits of the Consumer Directed Health Plan!
