Dornsife COVID-19 Journal Club Discussion

Event Description
Join the Dornsife COVID-19 Journal Club for a discussion of the paper “Facial Masking for COVID-19—Potential for ‘Variolation’ as We Await a Vaccine” by Monica Gandhi from the Center for AIDS Research and George W. Rutherford from UC San Francisco.
 
Michael LeVasseur, PhD, MPH, assistant professor of epidemiology and biostatistics at Dornsife, will discuss the perspective piece which was published in the New England Journal of Medicine on September 8, 2020.

The articles discusses some of the evidence suggesting that facial masking may cause more minor SARS CoV-2 infections due to a small viral inoculum.  
 
Drexel staff, faculty and students are welcome to take part in this discussion.
