Event Description

What year was the first Drexel women’s basketball team formed? How was our mascot, the Drexel Dragon, conceived? What was the greatest game ever played at Drexel University? Learn the answers to these questions as well as more about the surprisingly rich history of athletics at Drexel University.

Please join us on Thursdays at noon throughout the 2016-2017 academic year as we celebrate the lively history of Drexel University with engaging guest speakers. Lectures are free and open to the public.
