Event Description Matt Willey is an extraordinary graphic designer with accomplishments in type design, title sequences, posters, book design and publication design. His award-winning work and creative approach to problem solving in design disciplines has set a new standard in storytelling for a young generation of designers.
In 2014 Matt was named 'Designer of the Year' by Creative Review, and was elected as a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) in 2015. Matt was the art director of the New York Times Magazine and has since become a partner at Pentagram. In 2021 he launched the literary magazine, INQUE, with collaborator and editor Dan Crowe. His involvement in graphic design is matched by his ability to give back in creative ways. Seven of Matt’s typefaces are available through the BuyFontsSaveLives initiative, with all profits going to Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support. |
