- Describe the roles of love and compassion in the context of childhood development
- Explore the perception and utility of empathy and compassion in healthcare, in particular pediatrics
- Evaluate methods of training empathy and compassion
- Define compassion fatigue and burnout, specifically in the context of working in underserved communities, and address methods for mitigating it
