Event Description
In honor of Veterans Day, the College of Medicine will be hosting its first Veterans Health Forum on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm in Aud A – Queen Lane Campus. This exciting event will include an educational discussion focusing on the unique aspects of caring for Veteran patients and how providers can assist Veterans in seeking the numerous benefits available. The panel will consist of veteran students in health-related fields who served on active duty as medics as well as a representative from the Veterans Benefits Administration (a division of the Department of Veterans Affairs). It will be an interactive and engaging conversation and we look forward to seeing you all there. Light snacks will be provided. |
