Dr. Marshall's research is concerned with understanding and describing social and spatial inequalities in health focusing on how individual characteristics and contextual factors (from national to neighborhood) interact to influence health across the life course and particularly in later life. His talk is entitled "Developing neighborhood forecasts of demographic change and of populations in poor health: do the characteristics of place influence the choice of forecasting method and the error that we might expect?" |
