Before you turn in your brief or memo, join us for an hour-long boot camp to ensure your legal citations are in top shape! Deborah E. Bouchoux is a licensed attorney with more than twenty-five years of experience in legal education and in private practice. She has taught at paralegal programs in various universities, including the University of San Diego and Georgetown University, located in Washington, D.C. She is the author of several books and writings, including the following:
- Cite-Checker: Your Guide to Using The Bluebook
- Business Organizations in Focus
- Business Organizations for Paralegals
- Fundamentals of Business Organizations for Paralegals
- Intellectual Property
- The Aspen Handbook for Legal Writers
- Legal Research Explained; and
- Various texts on legal research, legal writing, and intellectual property.
Ms. Bouchoux has spoken on a variety of legal topics at private law firms, Fortune 500 companies (including Marriott International and Exxon-Mobil), and various government agencies, including the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and the U.S. Tax Court.
