Details:
This talk reviews the convergence of digital healthcare, medical wearables, and neuromodulation, specifically focusing on home-based personalized transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS).

Biosketch:
Marom Bikson, PhD, is the Shames Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the City College of New York (CCNY) of the City University of New York (CUNY). Medical device technologies designed in Dr. Bikson’s lab are tested or used in over 300 medical centers. These devices includes non-invasive brain stimulation for neuropsychiatric disorders, such as High-Definition tDCS, intra-operative tools, such as the WiPOX, and prosthetics, such as the Toddler Cane.

Dr. Bikson has published over 200 papers and book chapters and is inventor on over 30 patent applications. He is cofounder of Soterix Medical Inc. Dr. Bikson received a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD.
