Event Description
This year is a very exciting time in computing history as it is the 75th anniversary of the unveiling of the ENIAC, one of the earliest and most influential computing systems in the world! Unveiled right here in the city of Philadelphia. The six women who were its first programmers established many of the concepts and techniques we still use today. In this workshop, we will look at the ENIAC story and demonstrate a simulator of the machine. This free, virtual event is open to any student interested in learning more about the field of computing.
