Graphic artist Kendra Dandy launched the brand Bouffants & Broken Hearts in 2012. She is a Westphal 2009 Alum who majored in Design & Merchandising. Her line represents a sense of individuality and self expression shown in a mix of patterns, colors, and subjects. She is a Philadelphia native and she stumbled upon surface design while striving to combine her love for illustration and fashion design. She has successfully collaborated with notable companies including Anthropologie, Coach,  teNeues, Papyrus, Urban Outfitters, Macy’s,  Printed Village and Target!  She will be interviewed by Dr. Joseph H. Hancock II about her career, how it’s developed and changed and where she is going!
