Event Description
Drexel's College of Computing & Informatics (CCI) and the DEI Council are proud to host a special International Women’s Day (IWD) session with Mary Odabashian, ‘89, on “Being a Catalyst for Change You Want to See - #BreakTheBias.”
International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. IWD 2022 challenges us to imagine a gender-equal world — free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination — and to #BreakTheBias by celebrating women's achievement, raising awareness against bias, and taking action for equality.
In this talk, Drexel alumna Mary Odabashian will share her personal journey in breaking the bias and will discuss how from students, co-ops and job seekers, to alumni, faculty and administration, we all can act as catalysts for the change we want to see in the world. There will be a Q&A segment in this session, so get your questions ready!
This free, virtual event is open to the public.
