Event Description
The Center for Law, Policy, & Social Action welcomes Nicole Ramos, an attorney at Al Otro Lado, a bi-national, direct legal services organization with offices in the U.S. and Mexico. Ms. Ramos will discuss her work with the Border Rights Project, which provides direct services to asylum seekers and their families and also engages in broader legislative, media and legal advocacy efforts to challenge systemic human rights violations committed by state actors.
