Learning Objectives

  • Discuss epidemiology and health disparity of interpersonal violence
  • Explain biological, psychological and social alternations caused by traumatic stress as it relates to interpersonal violence
  • Associate trauma-informed principles are applied to violence intervention practice

Target Audience
Physicians, nurse practitioners, nursing personnel, fellows, residents, medical students and other health care professionals who take care of children
