Event Description Join me for our latest Dean's Tea with special guest Lloyd Ackert, teaching professor in the Department of History. Historian of Russian Science, Dr. Lloyd Ackert will lead a discussion of the Ukrainian Crisis in its long historical and current contexts. How does this history relate to Russian (Tsarist, Soviet, and Post-Soviet) and Western imperialism. How has Ukraine changed during the Post-Soviet period? What are its broader implications for the U.S.A. and globally today and the future?
Bring your thoughts on the subject at hand and be prepared to speak without self-consciousness with Dean Cohen and your fellow classmates.
