Event Description
The R.A.D. for Women Systems of Self Defense program is a class series that provides realistic defense methods to help participants make educated decisions about resistance. This course will educate participants about risk reduction strategies and the "Fight or Flight Syndrome." Participants will learn about personal weapons, vulnerable locations, postures, and the many options to employ if engaged in an aggressive encounter.
This series is held on the University City Campus and is free to members of Drexel campuses and the immediate community. You should attend all classes in the series. Additional details, including the class location will be emailed to registrants.
Class dates in this series:
- January 15
- January 17
- January 22
- January 24
All classes will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Last day to register is January 13.
