Start Date: 4/11/2018Start Time: 5:30 PM
End Date: 4/11/2018End Time: 7:30 PM
Event Description

Join Drexel University’s College of Arts and Sciences for a night of networking with peers in the publishing and communication industries. We’ll explore the social side of publishing with special guests Nicole De Jackmo, VP of Publicity and Marketing at Quirk Books, Ernest Owens, LGBTQ editor of Philadelphia magazine, and Andrew Stuart, literary agent and founder of the Stuart Agency. How are publishing houses, authors, agents and other industry experts using social platforms to find new content and talent, promote their brands and books, and build a dedicated following – often before the ink is even set?

This is a fantastic opportunity to meet and build relationships with leaders in the publishing and communication industries, while exploring how social media is redefining the publishing landscape. Light appetizers, beer and wine will be provided.

Sponsored by Drexel’s Graduate Programs in Publishing, Communication, and Communication, Culture & Media.
