Event Description
Visit Japan without leaving Philly! On April 15th, celebrate the return of spring with the Campus Activities Board (CAB) at the Fairmount Park Horticultural Center as we take in the beauty of hundreds of Cherry Blossom trees on Sakura Saturday (presented by Subaru and the Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia). Food and drink will be available as you enjoy the cultural showcase of Japanese Taiko Drum and Dance, the Sushi Samurai of the Year Contest, the Harajuki Fashion show, and the Stamp Rally!
$5 deposit per ticket and 1 ticket allotted per student ID. Keep your eye on drexelcab.com/tickets for the first ticket sale date & our office hours! All deposits will be refunded once event attendance is verified. To verify attendance simply bring a photo or brochure from the festival during CAB office or ticket sale hours to receive your refund. Tickets must be obtained in advance at the CAB office. CAB events are open to ALL undergraduate (part-time and full-time) students. Faculty, staff, and graduate students cannot participate unless otherwise noted. Official ticket sale dates will be released at drexelcab.com/tickets on 03/29!
Ticketholders: Please meet at the Dragon by 9:30 at the latest if you would like to travel with CAB. If you plan on going individually, you may most easily take the shuttle across from 30th street station, as they depart every 15-20 minutes from 9am until 3:30pm. |
