Event Description
Drexel University celebrates Earth Day and the University's commitment to environmental sustainability with its annual EarthFest. This block party-style celebration will be held along Lancaster Walk. This annual event showcases University stakeholders, local businesses and organizations with "green" initiatives.
This event includes:
- free food
- games and givaways
- tree planting ceremony
- demonstrations on sustainability
- a visit from Mario the Dragon
- bring your batteries, plastic bags and plastic film to recycle
- students and employees can bring their bike or laptop to register it with Drexel's Department of Public Safety
- bring donations of new or gently used clothing, shoes and accessories for Our Closet and Cradles to Crayons
EarthFest is free and open to the University community.
The rain date for this event will be Wednesday, April 24.
