As a Senior Recruiter for IKEA group, Amanda Buchanan works to ensure effective hiring practices of Leadership positions within IKEA stores throughout the East Coast. As part of IKEA’s recruitment leadership team, Amanda is committed to shaping a high-performance team that leverages Diversity, Equity and Inclusion best practices. With over 15 years of solid and progressive experience in Human Resources, Retail, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Amanda has held a wide range of responsibilities in both field and staff functions, including serving as a Case Manager for KRA Corporation, Diversity
Specialist at Cigna Corporation and also the role of Executive Team Leader of Human Resources at Target, before entering the world of Recruitment. Amanda has served as a board member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Black MBA Association and is an active member of the Urban League of Philadelphia’s Network of Extraordinary Talent (NExT Philadelphia). Amanda received her Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business, a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Loyola University Maryland, and an MBA from Villanova University. |
