Detraumatizing Our Bodies, Minds, and Hearts: A Conversation About Race, Policing, and Mindfulness

Event Description

On April 28, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. EDT, Donald Tibbs, race and policing expert at St. Thomas School of Law, and Bella Dilworth, leader of the Mindfulness in Law Society (MILS) DEI team and former supervising and trial attorney with the LA Public Defender’s office, will come together to talk about making space for the trauma of racialized policing, and how mindfulness can assist with our journey to detraumatize our minds, bodies, and hearts. The conversation will be moderated by Simone Yhap of the National Black Law Students Association (NBLSA).
