April is Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month. Please join us on Thursday, April 28, from 4 to 5 p.m. ET via Zoom for a panel discussion on navigating the autistic student experience in higher education, including advice and tips from students, faculty and administrators. The event will be moderated by CCI Graduate Student Kudzai Mushongahande, and include the following panelists:

  • Dr. Amy Edwards, Director, Drexel Autism Support Program, Drexel University
  • Dr. Thomas Edwards, Associate Professor, College of Engineering, Temple University
  • Sarah Nannery, Director of Development, Autism Initiatives, Drexel University

About the Moderator:

Kudzai is a graduate student in the Human-Computer Interaction and User Experience program. She's currently a member of CCI's DEI Counsel and an RA on Greek Row. She was diagnosed with ADHD and ASD later in life and as a neurodivergent Black woman, she sits in the middle of a complex Venn diagram of identities and intersectionality is truly at the root of all the work that she does.

This event is sponsored by the College of Computing & Informatics DEI Council and the Drexel Autism Support Program (DASP). All are welcome to attend!
