Film description: A disproportionate number of Black women are failed every year by the U.S. maternal health system. Shamony Gibson and Amber Rose Isaac lost their lives to preventable childbirth complications. The screening will be followed by a discussion led by Dr. Aasta Mehta, adjunct faculty in CHP and Medical Officer of Women’s Health at the Division of Maternal and Child Health, PDPH.

A link will be sent via email prior to the event to all who register for online attendance.
