Event Description
The Advanced Workshop is appropriate for those who have attended teh full Attachment Based Family Therapy [Introductory] 3-day workshop in the past. The Advanced Workshop will further develop the skills of therapists who have started using ABFT with their clinets. A certified ABFT trainer provides supervision via tape review, live supervision (when possible), and role-play. In preparation for the training, therapists are asked to provide a case write-up for at least one of the cases with which they are using ABFT or think they could use ABFT. We also encourage therapists to share videotape during the training and can arrange live supervision for those therapists local to Philadelphia when possible. Guidelines on what should be included in write-ups will be provided to the therapists. |
