Event Description
The Lindy Center for Civic Engagement invites you to volunteer at Comcast Cares Day.

Details: On Comcast Cares Day, volunteers will be teaming up with Our Brother’s Place Emergency Shelter in conjunction with the city of Philadelphia to help clean, organize, and beautify the shelter. Our Brothers' Place Emergency Shelter provides emergency shelter for 149 men and supportive services for an additional 50 on a daily basis. Individuals experiencing homelessness receive warm meals and supportive services, taking the first step in accessing housing in the community. Volunteers are needed for various tasks like helping paint, build, clean up the shelter.
