Event Description

Samantha’s capstone research explores the connections between visual arts and the humanities through the medium of commercial art. Specifically, she is developing a comic book to make an affective argument on behalf of art accessibility and public art education. The problem of defunded public art education programs is at the center of her work, and the comic book is a means of educating and empowering readers to address this problem.
